First up is a Size 6-9M Peasant dress in Fall colors with Owls and Polka Dots.

All dresses can be tied with the bow in the front or back.

Its almost holiday time again

So I am back to brainstorming Christmas ideas. I have also finished a few baby blankets lately for my customers. Here are some of the goodies I've created along with my friend and helper, Beth.

I have been working really hard

So I finally broke down and bought a commercial embroidery machine.
It has been working overtime since arriving in my sewing room.
Its surprising to me how much it will do and most people who own them only use them to put names on things. I found so many uses for mine and still discovering more things. Here are a few of those things. These bib sets have been selling on ebay like crazy. I love love love making them.

I accidentally discovered the beautiful of Satin bibs

This set is currently listed on ebay for the next 5 days but I know the getting place for more. Adorable for photo shoots with your newborn baby.

I learned to make the pacifier detachable completely just in case.

This was a special alligator order that the customer LOVED!

Look at this Crown Royal propeller quilt made on a commercial embroidery machine! So easy and EVERY single square was the same size. No wonky corners! Love this

My newest challenge brought to me by a friend. I have a new passion for ties and diaper covers. I can make them in all colors and sizes

New Pattern

I got my new machine, got my goodies in the mall in Gautier, Ms. and many orders from Sister's Place. The store in the mall is called Artisan's Attic and I fell in love with the people who own it. If you know me, you know that doesn't happen. My favorite saying is..."I don't like people" but I really like this couple. They are cool.

I feel privileged that she chose my stuff for her shop because there are some awesome artist there.

So, I started snooping around the web and found this cute little outfit, as a matter of fact, it was the same one my mom dressed me in some 50 uh 30 nah ok many years ago. Only with all this wacky funky, throwback fabric of which I have acquired TONS of.

I went to work.

This was my first 2 creations and they have been a ginormous hit.

I've been very busy

So....
Last Wednesday I bought a new machine from a very cool lady. Its a workhorse and a dream to operate. Its a 15 needle commercial Toyota, I named Big Bertha. I am in love....

To test it out, I decided my first order of business was getting things ready for the opening of Artisan's Attic in Gautier Mississippi - Singing River Mall. Cool place that you must check out. It is a store for local artists, handpicked by The Fowler's who I liked instantly. Yes! I was chosen. :)

I came up with the idea of instant Baby shower gifts that can be personalized like the ones below. They consist of:

A bottle cover

A bib w/snap

A burp pad

All of which can be personalized and special ordered.

The one below was a sample I threw together

I have added names to many of these baby blankets that you can get at the Dollar General for about $5. They make the cutest personalize gifts. Some of them I applique names on with a contrasting fabric or just embroider them in big letters, depending on customer's wishes. Aren't they cute?

Below you will see the "Construction" Jon Jon type outfit, that is monogrammed for visual purposes with my son's initials. Its a sample for the stores
